public class W3PP
extends java.lang.Object

This class returns appropriate scores as well as a correlation test of fit value. It can be used in the production of probability plots for 3-parameter Weibull distributions, and in a tests of fit for 3-parameter Weibull distributions.

It assumes that the data has already been sorted.

generate

This method takes a set of sorted data and returns the associated 3-parameter Weibull scores (Filliben version) and the value of the Filliben version of the correlation statistic for this data.

Parameters:
w3fit - The 3-parameter Weibull parameter object. The distribution function is 1 - \exp(-(\gamma (x - \mu))^{\beta}) (in \LaTeX notation). w3fit.gamma is the value of the scale parameter \gamma (many authors refer to \lambda = 1/\gamma as the scale parameter), w3fit.beta is the value of the shape parameter \beta, and w3fit.mu is the value of the location parameter \mu.
n - The number of data points.
w3pp - The 3-parameter Weibull probability plot (W3PP) object returned by the method. This includes a vector of Filliben scores (in w3pp.scores) and the value of the correlation statistic for a test of a 3-parameter Weibull (in w3pp.r).
